The slogan Pet, the future of packaging stands on a turquoise background with rays of light in the background.

PET-the future of packaging

Why PET is the packaging of the future.

At Eproplast GmbH, we have been using PET (polyethylene terephthalate) as a packaging material for over 20 years. Our many years of experience and expertise in the production of PET bottles have made us aware of the numerous advantages of this material, which are often underestimated.

1. PET is fully recyclable

PET is characterised by its high recyclability. It already achieves impressive recycling rates, which helps to reduce waste and conserve our natural resources. With PET packaging, we are making an important contribution to the circular economy.

2. lower CO2 footprint

Compared to conventional packaging materials such as glass, PET has a significantly lower CO2 footprint. The production and transport of PET bottles cause fewer emissions as PET requires lower melting temperatures and is significantly lighter. This actively supports the achievement of climate targets.

3. high breaking strength

PET is extremely break-resistant, which significantly reduces the likelihood of product failure during filling and transport. This increases efficiency and minimises waste.

4. design variety and flexibility

Our PET bottles offer a wide range of sizes and designs that can be customised to our customers' requirements. This flexibility makes PET a versatile packaging material that fulfils almost any product requirement.

5. brilliance and optics

Another advantage of PET is its outstanding transparency and brilliant appearance. At the point of sale, PET bottles attract customers' attention with their clarity and radiance.
