over the past weeks and months, EPROPLAST has made great progress in the further development of PET aerosol containers. With a combination of new material and optimised container geometry, we have succeeded in meeting the demand for pressurisation with 8 bar nitrogen even for more critical media
nachzukommen.
For this purpose, we have developed a container designed with a spherical base and modelled on an ideal
pressure vessel. In combination with the base cup and the optional skirt, this results in
attractive design options. At the same time, it offers the possibility of reducing weight or
using up to 30% rPET. The stability of the containers exceeds both the requirements according to
FEA647 and EEC75/324, as well as all previous results in stress cracking tests.
