Design for recycling<\/strong> is not just a buzzword at EPROPLAST, but a lived practice. We design our PET bottles so that they can be recycled as efficiently and to the highest possible quality<\/strong> after use - regardless of whether it is a standard model or a customer-specific design.<\/p>

Because only packaging that is designed for recycling can become part of a functioning cycle. And this is exactly what will be important in the future - also with regard to the upcoming legal requirements of the PPWR<\/strong> (Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Our bottle development is based on the following principles:<\/p>

  1. Monomaterial instead of a mix of materials:<\/strong> Our bottles are made entirely of PET - this enables pure recycling without the need for time-consuming separation.<\/li>
  2. Labels and closures at a glance:<\/strong> We pay attention to recycling-friendly labels and advise on the selection of suitable materials.<\/li>
  3. Colors with responsibility:<\/strong> Transparent PET is particularly easy to recycle - which is why we recommend it in terms of sustainability. We also offer colored variants on request, e.g. for greater product differentiation on the shelf.<\/li>
  4. Suitable for rPET:<\/strong> Our bottles are designed so that they can be produced with a high proportion of post-consumer recyclate (PCR)<\/strong> - an important requirement for the future.<\/li>
  5. Sorting-friendly design:<\/strong> Through targeted shaping, we ensure that our packaging can be easily recognized and correctly assigned in sorting systems.<\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

    The EU PPWR regulation<\/strong> places high demands on packaging: It must be recyclable and meet certain recyclate quotas<\/strong> from 2030. Only companies that address the recyclability of their packaging<\/strong> at an early stage will be able to produce in a legally compliant and sustainable manner in the long term.<\/p>
